New RR031 License: Electronic Module Recovery and Navigation Adaptation for Renault and Dacia
ABRITES introduces RR031 – Electronic Module Recovery (EPS and Radar) and Navigation Adaptation, a new license for advanced module recovery and adaptation procedures in Renault and Dacia vehicles.
RR031 provides solutions for Navigation and UCH replacement and VIN mismatch issues, JTEKT Electric Power Steering (EPS) recovery from Fail-Safe Mode, and Front Radar reset after crash events.
By restoring locked or affected modules, RR031 can often allow technicians to reuse the original or a replacement module instead of installing a new one, saving time and reducing repair costs.
What Can You Do with RR031?
The new license provides:
• Navigation module VIN mismatch recovery
• UCH and Navigation module replacement support
• Second VIN alignment between the UCH and Navigation module
• Recovery of locked Navigation multimedia modules
• JTEKT EPS recovery from Fail-Safe Mode
• Front Radar (Distronic/ACC/ADAS) reset after crash events
Navigation and UCH Adaptation
RR031 enables second VIN alignment between the UCH and Navigation multimedia module, supporting module replacement procedures on compatible Renault and Dacia vehicles.
The license can also recover Navigation multimedia systems locked due to a VIN mismatch with the UCH on vehicles based on the Renault Clio V platform.
Navigation and UCH functions cover supported Renault and Dacia vehicles equipped with Navigation multimedia units and compatible JCI/Visteon or Continental UCH modules, manufactured between 2014 and 2026.

JTEKT EPS Recovery from Fail-Safe Mode
RR031 allows technicians to recover supported JTEKT Electric Power Steering modules from Fail-Safe Mode.
An EPS module in Fail-Safe Mode can cause a “Dongle” error in the UCH and prevent the vehicle from starting. RR031 restores normal EPS operation and resolves the related condition.
The functionality is available for Renault and Dacia vehicles equipped with supported JTEKT EPS modules.
Front Radar Recovery After a Crash
RR031 also provides Front Radar (Distronic/ACC/ADAS) recovery and reset after crash events.
A collision can cause the Front Radar module to become locked. RR031 clears the crash-related records and restores normal module operation, allowing the radar to be reused instead of replaced in many cases.
The functionality covers supported Renault and Dacia vehicles from 2020 onwards equipped with Front Radar systems.
