Coming Soon: Adding A Key for JLR Vehicles with Unlocked RFA/KVM Modules 2018+
With the latest update of the essential Abrites software for JLR vehicles, you can soon:
Add a new key for JLR models manufactured after 2018 with unlocked RFA/KVM module
The procedure is simple, it only requires AVDI, Protag and a key (original or new Abrites-made), and it takes a few minutes!
Quick step-by-step guide:
1. Connect AVDI to the OBD
2. Open the offline Abrites menu for JLR vehicles
3. Go to the Key Programming menu
4. Select “Add Key”
5. Put the new key in Protag – you can also use the TA66/TA67 Abrites keys for JLR vehicles
6. Wait for the software to confirm programming is complete
Requirements:
- AVDI
- Protag Programmer
- New key (TA66, TA67)
- Active annual subscription
Important:
This functionality is available within the essential software in your AVDI interface! No licenses required! Only active annual subscription.
Keep in mind that the procedure only works for unlocked RFA/KVM modules.
